1. General Information

1.1 This policy applies to the Website operating at the URL: https://medilife-europe.com

1.2 The operator of the Website and the controller of personal data is: Mobi.pl S.C., Tax ID (NIP) PL9691616598, Traugutta 135, 44-120 Pyskowice.

1.3 The operator's contact e-mail address: export@mobi.pl.

1.4 The Operator is the controller of your personal data in relation to the data provided voluntarily on the Website.

1.5 The Website uses personal data for the following purposes:

  • running the newsletter
  • running the comments system
  • running online chat conversations
  • handling enquiries submitted via a form
  • preparing, packing and dispatching goods
  • performing ordered services
  • presenting offers or information

1.6 The Website obtains information about users and their behaviour in the following ways:

a) through data voluntarily entered in forms, which is entered into the Operator's systems;

b) by saving cookies on end devices.

2. Selected Data Protection Methods Used by the Operator

2.1 The places where users log in and enter personal data are protected at the transmission layer (SSL certificate). As a result, personal data and login data entered on the site are encrypted on the user's computer and can be read only on the target server.

2.2 User passwords are stored in hashed form. The hash function works in one direction only – it is not possible to reverse it, which is currently the modern standard for storing user passwords.

2.3 The Operator periodically changes its administrative passwords.

2.4 To protect data, the Operator regularly makes backup copies.

2.5 An important element of data protection is the regular updating of all software used by the Operator to process personal data, which in particular means regular updates of programming components.

3. Hosting

3.1 The Website is hosted (technically maintained) on the servers of the operator hitme.pl.

4. Your Rights and Additional Information on How Data Is Used

4.1 In certain situations the Controller has the right to transfer your personal data to other recipients if this is necessary to perform a contract concluded with you or to fulfil obligations incumbent on the Controller. This applies to the following groups of recipients:

  • couriers
  • insurers
  • law firms and debt collectors
  • payment operators
  • operators of the comments system
  • operators of the online chat solution
  • authorised employees and associates who use the data to achieve the purpose of the site's operation
  • companies providing marketing services to the Controller

4.2 Your personal data is processed by the Controller no longer than is necessary to carry out the related activities specified by separate regulations (e.g. on keeping accounting records). With regard to marketing data, the data will not be processed for longer than 3 years.

4.3 You have the right to request from the Controller:

  • access to personal data concerning you,
  • their rectification,
  • their erasure,
  • restriction of processing,
  • and data portability.

4.4 You have the right to object, in respect of the processing referred to in point 3.3 c), to the processing of personal data for the purpose of the legitimate interests pursued by the Controller, including profiling; however, the right to object cannot be exercised where there are compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, in particular the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

4.5 You may lodge a complaint about the Controller's actions with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw.

4.6 Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary for the operation of the Website.

4.7 Automated decision-making, including profiling, may be applied to you for the purpose of providing services under a concluded contract and for the purpose of the Controller's direct marketing.

4.8 Personal data is not transferred to third countries within the meaning of data protection regulations. This means that we do not send it outside the European Union.

5. Information in Forms

5.1 The Website collects information provided voluntarily by the user, including personal data, if it is provided.

5.2 The Website may save information about connection parameters (time stamp, IP address).

5.3 In some cases the Website may save information that makes it easier to link the data in a form with the e-mail address of the user filling in the form. In such a case the user's e-mail address appears inside the URL of the page containing the form.

5.4 The data provided in a form is processed for the purpose resulting from the function of the particular form, e.g. to handle a service request or a commercial contact, to register services, etc. In each case the context and description of the form clearly state what it is for.

6. Controller's Logs

6.1 Information about users' behaviour on the Website may be logged. This data is used to administer the Website.

7. Significant Marketing Techniques

7.1 The Operator uses statistical analysis of site traffic via Google Analytics (Google Inc., based in the USA). The Operator does not pass personal data to the operator of this service, only anonymised information. The service is based on the use of cookies on the user's end device. As regards information about user preferences collected by the Google advertising network, the user can view and edit the information resulting from cookies using the following tool: https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/

7.2 The Operator uses remarketing techniques, which allow advertising messages to be adjusted to the user's behaviour on the site. This may give the illusion that the user's personal data is being used to track them; in practice, however, no personal data is passed from the Operator to the advertising operators. The technological condition for such activities is that cookie support is enabled.

7.3 The Operator uses the Facebook pixel. This technology means that Facebook (Facebook Inc., based in the USA) knows that a person registered with it is using the Website. In this case it relies on data for which it is itself the controller; the Operator does not pass any additional personal data to Facebook. The service is based on the use of cookies on the user's end device.

7.4 The Operator uses a solution that examines user behaviour by creating heat maps and recording behaviour on the site. This information is anonymised before it is sent to the service operator, so that the operator does not know which natural person it concerns. In particular, passwords and other personal data that are entered are not recorded.

7.5 The Operator uses a solution that automates the operation of the Website with regard to users, e.g. one that can send an e-mail to a user after a particular subpage has been visited, provided that the user has consented to receiving commercial correspondence from the Operator.

8. Information on Cookies

8.1 The Website uses cookies.

8.2 Cookies are IT data, in particular text files, which are stored on the end device of the Website User and are intended for use of the Website's pages. Cookies usually contain the name of the website they come from, the time they are stored on the end device and a unique number.

8.3 The entity placing cookies on the Website User's end device and obtaining access to them is the operator of the Website.

8.4 Cookies are used for the following purposes:

a) maintaining the Website User's session (after logging in), so that the user does not have to re-enter their login and password on every subpage of the Website;

b) achieving the purposes specified above in the section “Significant Marketing Techniques”.

8.5 Two basic types of cookies are used within the Website: “session” cookies and “persistent” cookies. “Session” cookies are temporary files that are stored on the User's end device until they log out, leave the website or close the software (web browser). “Persistent” cookies are stored on the User's end device for the time specified in the cookie parameters or until they are deleted by the User.

8.6 Web browsing software (a web browser) usually allows cookies to be stored on the User's end device by default. Website Users can change the settings in this respect. A web browser makes it possible to delete cookies. It is also possible to block cookies automatically. Detailed information on this is available in the help or documentation of the web browser.

8.7 Restrictions on the use of cookies may affect some of the functionalities available on the Website's pages.

8.8 Cookies placed on the Website User's end device may also be used by entities cooperating with the Website operator, in particular the following companies: Google (Google Inc., based in the USA), Facebook (Facebook Inc., based in the USA), Twitter (Twitter Inc., based in the USA).

9. Managing Cookies – How to Give and Withdraw Consent in Practice

9.1 If the user does not want to receive cookies, they can change their browser settings. We note that disabling the handling of cookies necessary for authentication, security and maintaining user preferences may make it more difficult, and in extreme cases impossible, to use websites.
